Read, write and play with different types of poetry in celebration of National Poetry Month. We’ll find poems to love for the rest of our lives, and explore techniques to make our own poems come alive.

Supplies needed for this workshop:

• Pencil/pen and paper (writing journal optional)

• Poetry books (or a device to look for poems)

• An old book, newspaper or magazine in which you can write and draw

• Markers or heavy dark pens

• Optional: Assorted art supplies of your choice
